Truman Award Nominees-Literature Festival Information

Here at Rolla Jr High we use our state award books, The Truman Nominees, to select those students who can attend the Literature Festival. The criteria for this trip is that students are required to read and take AR tests over at least 4 of the nominated titles with a score of 80% or better required. Students are able to come and take AR tests over these nominees in the library, and in any English class.  Any of the nominated titles that were read and tested on last year with the qualifying score count towards the total number read. The library will also give out $5 in Bulldog Bucks for every nominee that students test on with a qualifying score this school year. The library is open all day, starting at 7:15 in the morning and closing at 3:30. Students can come to the library any time during the school day with permission from their teacher.
