National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

*You must be invited to be part of NJHS. You can’t just show up and join. To be invited, you need to maintain a 3.5 GPA, good behavior (no referrals), and a 90% attendance rate. If you meet that criteria, you will be invited after the first semester.*

In NJHS, our primary focus is service. You are the building leaders, and we complete several service projects including road cleanup, concession stands, recycling, writing Christmas cards for residents of assisted living facilities, and so on.

The Book Was Better Club

Speech and Debate Club

Speech and Debate Club is a during PRIDE/after-school venture that encourages students to sharpen their communication and thinking skills. We will assist students in learning the ability to think and listen critically, understand and respond to opposing viewpoints with integrity and knowledge, and stay current with local, national, and international events.

Drama Club

We are in charge of assemblies, spirit weeks, football concession stands, dances, after-school events, we partner with Special Olympics for Polar Plunger and so much more. Interested? We will do lots of fun activities like playing sign language games, watch videos, practice sign with peers, and listen to guest speakers from the deaf community!
